Just Travel is a small, family owned, Bus and Coach Operator based on Acaster Airfield near York. Founded in 1999, the company has moved on from strength to strength. Wholly owned by the Simpson family, James was influenced into the industry after leaving Tadcaster Grammar School.
In 2002 the Just Travel team merged with another well established coach operator, G. E. Sykes & Son.
A few years later Venue Minicoaches was acquired and is still a separately branded trading arm of the Just Travel Group.
In 2007 my Wife, Lisa joined the team and is now our ever efficient Bookings and Administration Director.
Today the group consists of 16 Coaches & Minicoaches in total and operate a total of 10 vehicles. These range from standard luxury specification vehicles through to five star Air-conditioned coaches with washrooms, hot/cold drinks facilites and microwave ovens. All the vehicles are fitted with state of the art in vehicle entertainment systems of which some include DVD multi screen systems to make your journey more comfortable. We continue to store and look ater several engineering spare vehicles for last minute use and also some restored PSV vehicles for shows, these include a 1979 AEC Reliance and a rare 1985 Tri-axle Volvo B10M Delta Superstar 9000. Both of these coaches are unique and survive through the dedication and passion of myself and our support team.
So, whether it be a short school trip to the swimming baths, a golfing day, a sporting weekend away or a day at the coast.. We have a coach tailored and driver to suit YOU!

Just Travel are proud to be a major travel supplier of the Univeristy of York, Private & Sports Hire departments.
Just Travel are the main contractor for Askham Bryan College.
Just Travel are accredited to North Yorkshire County Council and East Riding County Council.
Coaches and Mini-Coaches are hired on a weekly basis, taking students and staff alike all over the North of England. The University Chior have also travelled further afield to Ireland, Holland and Germany recently.
We are pleased to have carried the 'Outdoor Society' for some 12 years now to remote walking destinations every Sunday, come rain, shine, or -15 and snow!!!
Just Travel has also had a long term relationship with Tadcaster Grammar School, carrying students near and far and supporting the School in various activities. Just Travel is also the sole supplier for local Tadcaster students travelling to and from the school on a daily basis.
We operate a fleet of 10 Coaches & Minicoaches. These vary in size and specification.
The entry level is our 16 seater Mercedes Sprinter with 3 point seat-belts, then our luxury 29/33 seater Mercedes Midicoaches up to 49 executive specification vehicles and also our 53 seater standard coaches. We also operate two modern low floor service buses with a capacity of 70 passengers for local high capacity transfers without seat belts...
All our vehicles are seatbelted to VOSA and the Department of Transport safety standards. (Except service vehicles)
We also operate executive VIP coaches fitted with W/C facilities, Drinks Machine, Tables & and a DVD Entertainment System.
